OMG! What happened to the sweet Mary Ellen from episodes past!

This was probably the most ruthlessly violent thing I've ever seen you do. O.O I mean...wowzers! I tore into this thing thinking "Oh, yay! Another intellectually stimulating episode of Artificial Eden!"

Nope. Bad stuffs happened in this episode and I won't ruin for those who haven't read it yet but...I'm a little sad. And not just because I totally envision Nash/Alex slashfiction in my head!

This was still a good episode though, I would have to say in comparison to past episodes this one was more like a bullet. No fluffly info fountains and such...just straight forward plot development/progress.

The animations involving the warnings set the mood up SO wonderfully, I think it was a brilliant move as a director. Also the expressions utilized during the scenes and the pacing was really good. I'll admit some parts were wonky (that may be my own fault too, at one point I could have SWORN you draw Bale mooning the audience. I had to squint and get close to the screen to see what was going on, LOL), but overall it was a pretty solid ep.

Glad you liked it. I fretted and fretted over this one and I just decided today to finally let go. I had danced around Bale long enough, I showed the sword in the beginning and had to use it. I went the violent route because I figured I'd shown the workers who are used like tools, but soldiers needed to be something... extreme.

Without sounding too wishy washy (hopefully) nothing is set in stone. I haven't written the next episode. This may be final, or it may just be something inevitable. (Hopefully you understand what I'm implying). either way I really needed him out of commission.

I'm glad the animations worked, I worried they would come off hoaky. There was wonky bits? Damn, it must be a product of all the cutting and my lack of motivation to revise again.

Bale mooning the audience? Did I forget to draw pants! lol. And Nash and Alex slash fiction? lol. They are dangerously treading on the Starsky and Hutch, Kirk and Spock bromance.

Concerning you're apology, take it back, you have no need to apologize, this episode was awesome. I will miss Nash, that was unexpected, but I did the same thing, sometimes you need to do that for the story. As for your action sequence animations, they reminded me of what I tried to do in 7th Moon. Please, please reconsider drawing for me, you have more talent than you are willing to admit.(yeah, I'm pretty sure the answer is no, but I had to ask after being reminded what you're capable of)
