This was really well done! I really loved how the the whole story was constructed as an allegory for the loss of cultural identity. My favorite part was the boat ride as he gave up that identity one piece at a time. You did a really great job telling the story so that I understood what you were getting at without having to read the authors notes, but also without the meaning being too transparent. I also liked reading the authors notes afterwards because it shows how much thought you put into every action and image. Great Job!
